Salina de la Renta continues to collect gold, as another one of her clients won a title at MLW Slaughterhouse.
MLW World Women’s Featherweight Champion Deli Exo was set to defend the title against B3CCA at the show. When B3CCA was unable to compete, she was replaced by the mysterious Phantom Challenger. The identity of her opponent was not revealed until she made her entrance, and it turned out to be Janai Kai.
Exo fought valiantly, but Kai overwhelmed her with her stiff strikes and grueling submission moves. In the end, Kai made Exo tap out to a Dragon Sleeper to win the gold. Exo’s reign previously began when she beat Taya Valkyrie at MLW War Chamber on April 6.
Earlier in the show, Salina helped Rocky Romero defeat AKIRA to win the MLW World Middleweight Championship.
