Randy Orton is reportedly on his way back to WWE, and a tentative date is in the cards.
Randy Orton last wrestled on the May 20, 2022, episode of WWE SmackDown. There, he and Matt Riddle lost the RAW Tag Team Championship to The Usos. Orton then had fusion surgery on his back, and he was set to miss an extended period of time. In August, Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful (via Fightful Select) reported that Orton was not cleared, but he was working out, and he intended to return. Orton was then spotted at the WWE Performance Center in September.
In an update, Sapp reports that Orton and WWE were targeting WWE Survivor Series for a return
WWE Survivor Series will be held at Allstate Arena in Rosemont, Illinois, on November 25.
