IYO SKY retained at WWE Fastlane.
In the third match at Fastlane, IYO SKY opted to go at it alone as she defended her WWE Women’s Championship against Charlotte Flair and Asuka without Damage CTRL at ringside.
The match started with Asuka misting Flair in the face, which effectively removed “The Queen” for the first few minutes. Once she returned to action, Flair and SKY in particular flew all over the place with moonsaults in and out of the ring.
Toward the end, Flair nearly won by spearing Asuka. Bayley then ran down and checked on the champion on the floor. SKY yelled at her to leave before Flair booted her off the apron and onto Bayley. Asuka then connected with a flying codebreaker off the top, but it wasn’t enough.
Flair trapped Asuka in the Figure Four until Bayley attempted to enter the ring. While the ref was wrapped up with Bayley, SKY hit a moonsault on Flair and pinned her to retain.
SKY’s reign now continues on at 64 days and counting.
