Richard Holliday would love a chance to work with “Your Boy Hammer” again.
Holliday, Alex Hammerstone and MJF were part of MLW’s The Dynasty stable. The group formed in 2019, and slowly expanded to also feature Aria Blake, Gino Medina and Grogan. The core three members enjoyed great success together, as Hammerstone held the World Heavyweight and National Openweight titles, while MJF and Holliday won the World Tag Team Championship.
What would he say made the trio (Holliday, Hammerstone and MJF) resonate with so many fans?
“We were objectively hilarious, and we are,” he stated. “It was just three guys making something work that probably shouldn’t have worked as well as it did.”
MJF left MLW in January 2020, and Holliday ultimately turned on Hammerstone two years later at MLW Blood & Thunder. Holliday’s last match in MLW was a heated battle against Hammerstone, but the two have since patched things up.
Hammerstone is still a focal point of MLW TV, but would Richard Holliday be open to getting the Dynasty back together, in one form or another?
“I’d love it, right? Hammerstone and I have such a history together. He’s a good friend of mine. He’s one of my best friends, and I’m so glad we were able to bury the hatchet and share some bunk beds. I’m sure everyone saw that picture on the internet,” Holliday noted. “Hammerstone and I are cool. We’re bros. It’s a wild business. Never say never. Of course, it’d be awesome.”
It appears that Hammerstone is open to a reunion too, as he replied to a fan’s request for a reunion with the following photo:
