Karrion Kross looks back on the time he called out Batista.
Before he signed with WWE in 2020, Killer Kross was a buzzworthy talent on the independent scene. At GCW Josh Barnett’s Bloodsport 2, Kross defeated Nick Gage. He then raised some eyebrows after the bell, as he called out former WWE star Batista, who had his retirement match a few months prior. Nothing came of the callout, and Kross later signed with WWE.
Kross responded to a fan’s tweet that shared the clip of the challenge. He stated that he heard Batista was in the building to shoot for a zombie film. Kross noted that he had been a huge fan, and he hoped he would come out of retirement. He also stated that he would be “honored to open that door.”
