On August 13, Pro Wrestling Guerrilla presented its 20th anniversary event, PWG TWENTY: Mystery Vortex. The event emanated from the Globe Theatre in Los Angeles, California.
Jon Moxley, Roderick Strong, and other stars competed at the show.

- Konosuke Takeshita defeated Rey Horus
- Jon Moxley defeated Titus Alexander
- Roderick Strong defeated Michael Oku
- Maki Itoh, Evil Uno & Aramis defeated Masha Slamovich, Peter Avalon & Latigo
- Rey Fenix defeated Black Taurus
- Daniel Garcia def. Mike Bailey in a 60-Minute Iron Man Match to retain the PWG World Championship.
Moxley’s match marked his PWG debut, while Strong wrestled for PWG for the first time in seven years.
