Ruby Soho is headed to the Owen Hart Cup finals this week.
During the July 12 episode of AEW Dynamite, Ruby Soho battled Skye Blue in the first semi-finals match of the 2023 Owen Hart Foundation Women’s Tournament.
Toni Storm and Saraya were ejected from the bout early on, but Soho still took control after that. Blue planted Soho on her face, seemingly injuring her nose again. However, Soho was faking the severity of the injury, and she stole the win by hitting Bluew with the No Future to advance to the finals.
Soho beat Britt Baker on July 5 in the first-round. She previously battled Baker in the 2022 tournament finals, however Baker was victorious in that bout.
The other 2023 semi-finals bout between Athena and Willow Nightingale is scheduled to air on the July 14 episode of AEW Rampage. The winner will then go on to face Soho on this Saturday’s Collision to crown the tournament winner.
