Seann William Scott discusses his experience working with The Rock.
Early in his Hollywood run, Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson starred in the 2003 film The Rundown alongside Seann William Scott, Christopher Walken and Rosario Dawson. Scott recently appeared on Inside of You with Michael Rosenbaum and touched on how much he enjoyed starring in the same movie as the former WWE Champion.
“I haven’t spoken to him in a while, but obviously, I watch all of his movies,” Scott said. “That’s another one of those moments where I always tell someone, ‘I can’t believe I got to work with the guy,’ twice, actually, on Southland Tales. But, man, that was one of the best experiences shooting The Rundown. That was awesome.”
When asked if he was ever nervous around other stars on set, Scott mentioned The Rock and several others.
“A lot. I’m always intimidated, but I remember — these are all incredible people, but first meeting them is like Susan Sarandon and Billy Bob Thornton on Mr. Woodcock, or Christopher Walken in The Rundown. Julianne Moore, David Duchovny in Evolution. Dan Akroyd in Evolution. There’s The Rock. Yeah, there’s been so many big stars that — Chow Yun-fat in Bulletproof Monk. There’s always a part of me that, because I’m a film fan, throughout the experience of shooting those movies, I was still always kind of nervous.”
