WWE has announced a shake-up in regard to its backstage interviews.
Jackie Redmond will join Byron Saxton as a backstage interviewer on Monday Night Raw, according to a recent press release from WWE. She will also co-host WWE’s premium live event kickoff events with Booker T and Peter Rosenberg with Kayla Braxton. Additionally, Redmond will be working in the studio throughout the year.
At WWE’s Stamford studios, Megan Morant will host Raw Talk, SmackDown LowDown, overseas programs, and a number of digital shows, including the Raw sidecast on Twitch.
Cathy Kelley will be moving to Friday Night SmackDown, where she will work as a backstage interviewer with Kayla Braxton.
Morant reacted to the news on social media saying that she is looking forward to taking on a studio job, something that she has been after for almost a decade.
Redmond has worked as a host and reporter for the NHL Network, WBD Sports, and Rogers Sportsnet in Canada for more than ten years. In 2021, she started working for WWE as the co-host of Raw Talk and Talking Smack. Redmond will continue to work for the NHL Network and WBD Sports during the hockey season.
