A new report provides an update on Mickie James following her previous injury.
James has been sidelined since she relinquished the IMPACT Knockouts World Championship due to a rib injury ahead of IMPACT Rebellion in April. She last wrestled at the IMPACT tapings on February 26.
Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful Select reports that, according to sources, James is healthy, and she could return to the ring soon, as she was cleared for action a few weeks ago.
Per Sapp, James is technically a free agent. IMPACT sources noted that, prior to her injury, James was expected to stay with the company until at least this summer. One source noted that James has always been a free agent, but the company has seen her as a woman of her word, so there’s never been any concern of her going back on her word.
Nick Aldis, James’ husband, recently stated that Mickie is cleared, and it’s a matter of finding the right time for her return. Check out his comments here.
