FITE TV has an announcement for fans of New Japan Pro- Wrestling.
FITE TV, a popular streaming services for combat sports-related programming, has revealed an exciting addition to its video library. Starting today, June 1, NJPW fans will have access to over 158 hours of action from NJPW STRONG events. A press release notes that the added programming will include footage from STRONG’s inception in New Japan Cup USA, Battle in the Valley from February 2023, episodes of Capital Collision, and much more.
This collection will be available to FITE+ subscribers on demand. FITE+provides access to a special selection of premium live events from professional wrestling, MMA, boxing, and other sports. The entire FITE+ library holds over 4,000 hours of footage from more than 100 organizations from around the world. A subscription is $7.99 monthly and $69.99 yearly.
Michael Weber, the Co-Founder and COO of FITE, commented on the announcement. “New Japan Pro Wrestling is the longest running pro wrestling promotion in Japan and is known for incredible talent from both East and West, and top production values – making every episode worthy of attention. We’ve always been thrilled to host NJPW’s PPV events, so we’re especially proud to now make FITE+ a home for all of this content.”
A representative from NJPW of America also revealed some of the stars featured in the collection. “We’re excited for FITE+ subscribers to have access to this incredible library. With global superstars like Mercedes Moné and Jon Moxley, NJPW favorites like Will Ospreay and Hiroshi Tanahashi and new stars created within STRONG like Fred Rosser and Tom Lawlor, fans are sure to enjoy hours of STRONG action on FITE+.”
