Hangman Page is back, and The Elite and the Blackpool Combat Club will clash at AEW Double or Nothing.
During the May 17 episode of AEW Dynamite, Kenny Omega was attacked by the Blackpool Combat Club. The Young Bucks made the save, but the numbers weren’t even until Hangman Page — who had been absent from AEW for several weeks — shocked everyone by appearing alongside his Elite stablemates.
Page, Omega, and the Young Bucks cleared the ring of the Blackpool Combat Club. Hangman then said The Elite was the heart and soul of AEW, and he proceeded to challenge the Blackpool Combat Club to an Anarchy in the Arena Match at AEW Double or Nothing. Tony Khan subsequently confirmed the match.
This won’t be the first time that the Blackpool Combat Club has been in this type of match, with the group losing the inaugural bout to the Jericho Appreciation Society at AEW Double or Nothing 2022.
WrestleZone will have coverage of AEW Double or Nothing as it airs on May 28.
