Becky Lynch is tired of being the runner-up when it comes to Money in the Bank ladder matches.
RAW Superstar Becky Lynch was a recent guest on Mark Andrews’ My Love Letter to Wrestling to discuss a wide variety of subjects. When asked about what she still has on her bucket list at this stage in her career, Lynch revealed that she really wants to win the Money in the Bank briefcase.
“I do want to win the Money in the Bank briefcase before it’s all said and done,” Becky Lynch revealed. “I want to win the Money in the Bank briefcase and also wrestle Beth Phoenix. I’ve been trying to get her for years! She’s been dodging me.”
When asked if she wants to win the Money in the Bank to try and top Seth Rollins’ cash-in at WrestleMania 31, Lynch believes no one will be able to top that, so there’s no use in trying.
“I don’t think anyone can, and I think there’s no point in trying,” Becky Lynch said. “I think that’s gonna go down as the greatest cash-in in history. And I am quite alright to let him have that one. But maybe I can come fairly close.”
When it was brought up that Lynch could win the briefcase in London, Lynch expressed her frustration with coming in second place in every single Money in the Bank ladder match she’s participated in.
“I know, but every single Money in the Bank match that I’ve been in, I’ve always been the second last person every single time,” Becky Lynch said. “So we’re talking four Money in the Bank ladder matches. I’ve always been the second last person.”
It was then brought up that beyond winning the Money in the Bank briefcase, Lynch has pretty much done it all in professional wrestling; The Man spoke about her acting aspirations and that she’s ready to answer the call when opportunities like that arise.
“Well, I think my body has a little bit left in the tank, but after that, there’s nothing else I’m good at other than performing,” Becky Lynch said. “I did my degree in acting, and that’s something that I love. That’s something that I’m very passionate about. That’s something that, when given the opportunity, I’d like to dive headfirst into so whenever the opportunities arise, I will be there to answer the call.”
