MLW Live Events Now Exclusive To FITE+

Major League Wrestling is coming to FITE and the relationship will kick off in a big way.

MLW will be joining the FITE+ lineup beginning on Saturday, July 8. The league will air its Never Say Never event live from Philadelphia on FITE exclusively as part of its FITE+ subscription.

MLW owner Court Bauer made the announcement on Tuesday’s episode of Busted Open Radio, sharing the following details:

“Like we talked about a few weeks ago, one of the biggest requests we always get is, ‘When is MLW going to flip the switch and go live again?’ We haven’t done it since the pandemic. We’d done things on a monthly basis with beIN Sports, we’d done Superfight on pay-per-view, but we see that there’s all this interest in our monthly tapings and doing things live,” Bauer said. “We said we’ve got to figure this out, so we checked off the box with REELZ this year, now it’s really time to attack the live component. And so I can exclusively tell you here on Busted Open that MLW is going live July 8, we just closed a deal with FITE.

“We’re going to kick things off July 8 with Never Say Never from Philadelphia, 2300 Arena. We’ve joined FITE and we’re part of the FITE+ package, so now starting with July 8,” Bauer explained, “you can get exclusive access on a monthly basis to MLW premium live events at no additional cost if you’re a FITE+ subscriber. Same $7.99, but now you get the world of MLW and our live specials every month, so we’re excited, we’re pumped about it.”

Bauer issued a further comment in a press release issued by FITE:

“To have MLW’s premium live events available – for no extra cost – on FITE+ gives fans maximum quality and value, which is what we’re both about,” said MLW Founder and CEO Court Bauer. “We’re going to be an amazing tag team and the winners are the fans.”

“Starting a little over 20 years ago, Court has delivered on everything pro-wrestling is meant to be,” added Michael Weber, COO of FITE. “Mixing styles and talents to create something you can’t take your eyes off of. If you think about talent like Satoshi Kojima, CM Punk, Terry Funk or even MJF and Tom Lawlor having spent time at MLW, you know you cannot risk missing out on what comes next.”
