AEW Dynamite viewership saw an increase on April 26, which featured Kenny Omega and Konosuke Takeshita in tag team action.
According to Showbuzz Daily, 863,000 viewers watched the show on Wednesday night, and it drew a 0.28 rating in the 18 to 49 demographic. The viewership was up from last week’s episode when 830,000 viewers tuned in. The demo also remained steady from last week‘s episode, which drew a 0.28 rating in the same demographic.
Even with the increase in viewership, Dynamite dropped to the ninth place spot in the demographic among cable originals overall Wednesday night. On cable, AEW Dynamite was mainly defeated by TNT and NBA TV’s coverage of the NBA Playoffs, ESPN’s coverage of the NHL Playoffs, and Vanderpump Rules on Bravo, according to Showbuzz Daily.
This week’s show kicked off with Orange Cassidy defeating Bandido to retain the AEW International Championship. The main event of the evening saw Kenny Omega and Konosuke Takeshita defeat The Butcher and The Blade. The Blackpool Combat Club attacked them following the match.
