AEW is loading up the card for the March 15 episode of AEW Dynamite.
As confirmed during the March 8 episode, the AEW World Trios Championship will be defended in a three-way match. The House of Black (Malakai Black , Brody King & Buddy Matthews) will defend the titles against The Elite (Kenny Omega & The Young Bucks) and the Jericho Appreciation Society (Chris Jericho, Sammy Guevara & Daniel Garcia). Jericho claimed his trio were the rightful contenders after they beat AR Fox and Top Flight on Wednesday, while House of Black won the titles by defeating The Elite at AEW Revolution.
Elsewhere on the show, Orange Cassidy will defend the newly named AEW International Championship, which was formerly known as the AEW All-Atlantic Championship. The new name was announced by Tony Khan on Wednesday, and the AEW CEO noted that Cassidy requested a match against Jeff Jarrett after the veteran attacked him earlier in the show. Cassidy beat Jay Lethal to retain the title, and Jarrett laid him out with a post-match attack.
Plus, AEW World Champion MJF will be in a joyful mood, as he will host his Re-Bar Mitzvah Celebration on his birthday. MJF retained the AEW World Championship by defeating Bryan Danielson in a 60-Minute Iron Man Match at AEW Revolution.
Finally, BS Champion Jade Cargill has issued an open challenge, and she called out Canadian wrestlers to step up and face her when AEW makes its Winnipeg debut on March 15.
