Ricky Starks has been terrorized by the Jericho Appreciation Society for weeks, and now he’ll have a chance to finally end it at AEW Revolution.
During a segment tonight on AEW Dynamite, Starks came out to the ring and said that it’s clear Jericho is trying to avoid him, and that he’s ready to move on, even though he does have an open contract for a match against him at Revolution. Jericho interrupted him and said he wouldn’t be taking Starks’ bait for another match, simply because Starks isn’t at Jericho’s level.
After some more back and forth, Peter Avalon came out, and Jericho hit him with a Judas Effect, before coming down to the ring. He then began pondering if he should sign the contract, saying that it wouldn’t be AEW Revolution without him. Starks then said that he doesn’t know if Jericho could win on his own, and would need the help of JAS.
This angered Jericho, who said he would add a stipulation preventing the group from being at ringside, before signing the contract and cementing the match.
