Santino Marella reflects on the current IMPACT Wrestling roster and names former coworkers he would like to see join the roster.
Santino Marella returned to IMPACT Wrestling at Hard to Kill as the new Director of Authority of the promotion. He’s only expected to be in this role temporarily as Scott D’Amore heals in character following an attack from Bully Ray.
During a recent interview with Lee Tarrier of PWMania, Marella named several of the current roster members he enjoys as part of his new home promotion.
“I’m a huge fan of Josh Alexander, he’s great. Trey Miguel, I’m a big fan of his. Rich Swann, Eddie Edwards, Sami Callihan. The locker room is packed, man, with familiar and new faces so, I’m excited to see a lot of them. I watch all the matches and I’m glad to be part of them,” he said.

Furthermore, when asked who he would like to see during the roster, Santino singled out JTG and PJ Black (formerly Justin Gabriel). However, Santino also mentioned Timothy Thatcher and NWA roster member J.R. Kratos
“I’d love to see JTG in IMPACT, I think he has a lot of fantastic years ahead of him. PJ Black (Justin Gabriel) is another one I would love to see join us as what he can do is incredible. Tim Thatcher has everything, I think he would be great here. Kratos in NWA, I’d love to see him and work with him. There’s a lot of people out there I’d love to see come in,” Marella said.
