AEW Dynamite viewership saw a decrease on February 8, which was headlined by an AEW World Tag Team Title match between The Acclaimed And The Gunns.
According to Showbuzz Daily, 899,000 viewers watched the show on Wednesday night, and it drew a 0.30 rating in the 18 to 49 demographic. The viewership was down slightly from the February 1 episode, when 901,000 viewers tuned in. The demo also dropped from last week‘s episode, which drew a 0.31 rating in the same demographic.

With the decrease in viewership, Dynamite dropped and took the fifth spot in the demographic among cable originals overall Wednesday night. On cable, they were defeated by ESPN’s coverage of NBA basketball and MTV’s The Challenge, according to Showbuzz Daily.
This week’s show kicked off with AEW World Champion MJF defeating Konosuke Takeshita. The main event saw The Gunns defeat The Acclaimed to become the new AEW World Tag Team Champions.
