Kota Ibushi‘s recovery continues.
The former IWGP World Heavyweight Champion has been sidelined since October 2021, as he suffered a shoulder injury during his match against Kazuchika Okada in the finals of the G1 Climax. He was later pulled from the New Japan Cup after he was initially announced. Ibushi expressed his frustration with NJPW on social media in May, and the company subsequently announced penalties to Ibushi and others who were involved.
In a brief update, he told Dark Puroresu Flowsion that his shoulder is “90% comeback.”
