WWE SmackDown viewership dipped on January 6.
According to Brandon Thurston of Wrestlenomics, 2.257 million viewers tuned in, which is down from last week, when 2.629 million viewers watched the show.
In the 18 to 49 demographic, SmackDown scored a 0.53 rating, which also marks a drop from last week (0.64 rating in the same demographic). Thurston noted that SmackDown ranked #3 in the demographic.
Smackdown ranked #3 for the day in P18-49 on Friday, behind Fire Country on CBS and Shark Tank on ABC.
NBA on ESPN was #1 on cable.

This week’s episode featured a tag team title match, as The Usos defended the gold against Drew McIntyre and Sheamus. Plus, SmackDown Women’s Champion Charlotte Flair faced Sonya Deville, and Ricochet took on Top Dolla in a Royal Rumble Qualifying Match.
