Vince McMahon is back with WWE on the road to WrestleMania 39.
According to an SEC filing released this morning, Vince McMahon is back on WWE’s board of directors alongside George Barrios and Michelle Wilson. This move has forced the removal of Alan Wexler, JoEllen Lyons Dillon, and Jeffrey Speed from the board in the process.
The WWE board of directors did not wish to allow McMahon to return to this position in the company, but his refusal to approve or greenlight any media rights or sales in the future forced the company’s hand.
Below are a series of tweets that reveal emails between the board of directors and Mr. McMahon, which clearly display McMahon’s forcing his return to the company despite the negative impact it could potentially have on WWE in 2023.
