WWE is loading up the card for the first episode of WWE SmackDown in 2023.
As confirmed during the December 30 episode of SmackDown, The Usos will defend the Undisputed WWE Tag Team Championship against Drew McIntyre and Sheamus. McIntyre returned on Friday night and saved Sheamus and The Brawling Brutes from an attack by The Bloodline. McIntyre had been sidelined with an injury since his match at the November 27 live event. He and Sheamus were scheduled to challenge The Usos for the gold on the December 9 episode, but Butch took McIntyre’s place due to the injury.

Plus, the road to WWE Royal Rumble will continue with a qualifying match as Ricochet will take on Top Dolla of Hit Row. The former WWE Intercontinental Champion mocked Top Dolla’s recent both on Friday night, and the Hit Row star shoved him out of frustration.
The card is as follows:
- Undisputed WWE Tag Team Championship: The Usos (c) vs. Sheamus and Drew McIntyre
- Royal Rumble Qualifying Match: Top Dolla vs. Ricochet
WrestleZone will have coverage of the show as it airs on Friday.
