Samoa Joe challenges anyone to step up to him, even past TNT Champions.
Speaking at the ROH Final Battle post-show media scrum, Samoa Joe was asked who he might like to defend his TNT title against. Joe said anyone can step up to him, but they should know that he’s going to whip their ass.
“Anybody can get it. Let’s be real clear about this. I’d you think you’re the guy that’s gonna come take this from me, show up. I’ll whip your ass. It don’t matter if it’s Miro, it don’t matter, Cody can come back, bring anybody. You bring anybody. If you want to come here and take my championship,” Joe said. “you’re more than welcome to come. I don’t hunt people. I’m not out here chasing cats. They come chase me. The king sits on the throne and you come to me. That’s how this works, and that’s how it’s gonna continue to work as long as I hold these championships.”
Joe, the current AEW TNT Champion and ROH Television Champion, went on to say that he wants all the gold in both companies and isn’t done collecting yet.
“I said this when I first got here to AEW. It’s all the championships. We’re here to collect all the gold. Now I said I was gonna collect multiple titles. Obviously, I’ve kept that promise, and that’s just gonna keep continuing on.”
