It appears that former WWE Superstar Sasha Banks (Mercedes Varnado) is on her way to New Japan Pro-Wrestling in 2023.
According to Mike Johnson of PWInsider, several sources have confirmed to him that Sasha Banks is scheduled to be at Wrestle Kingdom 17 next month.
At this time, Johnson has been unable to confirm if Banks will appear in front of the live crowd. But she is being brought in by New Japan for the event.
In October, The Boss teased the idea of facing KAIRI once again in the future. The former Kairi Sane is currently the IWGP Women’s Champion and represents the STARDOM promotion in conjunction with New Japan Pro-Wrestling.
KAIRI is scheduled to defend her championship at Wrestle Kingdom 17 against Tam Nakano.
Last month, Banks filed trademarks for Mercedes Mone’, Mone’ talks, Bank Mone’, and The Statement Maker teasing her new persona in the world of professional wrestling.
