Martinez missed several months with an injury, but she returned on the November 18 episode of AEW Rampage, where she confronted Athena. In her most recent title defense, Martinez defeated Serena Deeb at ROH Death Before Dishonor in July. She won the ROH Interim Women’s Championship at the Supercard of Honor pay-per-view before she defeated Deonna Purrazzo on the May 4 episode of AEW Dynamite to unify the titles.
