Konosuke Takeshita is “All Elite.”
In a tweet on November 19, AEW President Tony Khan announced that Takeshita signed with the company. Takeshita teamed up with Jun Akiyama to defeat Eddie Kingston and Ortiz on the November 18 episode of AEW Rampage. In the tweet, Khan stated that fans would hear from Takeshita on AEW Full Gear: Zero Hour.

Takeshita has previously starred with DDT Pro-Wrestling, where he is a four-time Ironman Heavymetalweight Champion and a five-time KO-D Openweight Championship. He made his AEW debut in 2021 and competed for the company several times throughout 2022 as he took an excursion to America; he faced stars like Kingston, Jon Moxley, Claudio Castagnoli and Hangman Page on AEW TV. Takeshita went back to DDT after he returned to Japan, but he recently returned to the United States.
