Donald Trump is looking to storm Washington, D.C. once again.
On Tuesday, Donald Trump announced he will be running for President of the United States in 2024, the third consecutive time he’ll run for the position. Trump filed with the Federal Election Commission on Tuesday before making his announcement from his home at Mar-a-Lago.
Donald Trump periodically appeared on WWE TV over the years, including his role in the “Battle of the Billionaires” match at WrestleMania 23. He was inducted into the celebrity wing of the WWE Hall of Fame in 2013.
You might also remember him as the 45th President of the United States.
Trump won the 2016 election and served as President for four years. He ran for a second term but lost the 2020 election to current President Joe Biden.
If Trump is ultimately successful and wins his re-election bid, he would be the second U.S. president besides Grover Cleveland (1884 and 1892) to serve two non-consecutive terms. In addition, Donald Trump would also be the first-ever WWE Hall Of Famer to serve as President of the United States twice.
No word on his running mate, but there’s speculation he might back Bobby Lindsay once again.
