WWE Superstars Drew McIntyre and Karrion Kross were having a match in Peoria, Illinois last night with Scarlett at ringside to be in the corner of Karrion Kross.
PWInsider has more information on the incident that happened between a female fan and Scarlett last night. During the match, there was a planned moment where Scarlett was to slap Drew McIntyre to draw heat with the referee distracted.
Afterwards, Scarlett was playing to the crowd walking around the perimeter of the ring when a female fan seated in the third row threw a full plastic cup of alcohol right at Scarlett, which obviously hit her and went all over her. A fan in attendance reported that Scarlett continuously told WWE officials she was fine and continued participating in the mach.
Meanwhile, arena security along with WWE security immediately went up to the woman and escorted her and her entire family out of the show. There was no physical altercation between anyone and it is unknown if any charges were filed. Beyond that incident, the match went on as planned. You can see the full results of the show here.
Scarlett went on to comment about the incident after the show, posting the following to Twitter.
As a classy woman from Chicago, I’m not surprised that something like this would happen in Peoria. ?
PS. To the granny who threw the drink, your booze was as cheap as your hairdo. ?
