Orange Cassidy Describes How His Title Win Feels: I Carry It In A Backpack Because It’s Too Heavy

It sounds like Orange Cassidy is enjoying his All-Atlantic Championship win.

Orange Cassidy was a guest on WBAL TV to promote AEW Dynamite in Baltimore on November 2. Asked by host Justin Schlegel how his title win feels, Orange said it feels… heavy.

“It feels very heavy,” Orange said. “So I carry it around in a backpack because I’m not going to wear it, because it’s too heavy. But it feels… like that.”

Orange was then asked about what it was like working through the pandemic. He said it was bad, but he dealt with it by taking out his frustrations on Chris Jericho.

“I’m not going to lie to you. It was bad. I did not like it. The only reason why wrestling is what it is, is because of the fans. To not hear them, it was tough, so I took it out on Chris Jericho and I punched him in the face,” he stated. “I knocked him into a big pool of mimosa to beat him.”

Orange Cassidy will defend his title on AEW Dynamite in Baltimore against Luchasaurus and Rey Fenix. If he successfully retains his championship, he will then defend the title in an “All-Atlantic City Dream Match” on the November 4 episode of Rampage.
