AEW Dynamite ended in surprising fashion.
After Jon Moxley defended the AEW World Championship against Penta El Zero Miedo, The Firm’s W. Morrissey, Ethan Page, Lee Moriarty, and The Gunn Club all came out and ganged up on Moxley. Stokely Hathaway joined the melee, which also brought out MJF.
MJF was initially hesitant to break it up, but he eventually marched down to the ring and shoved everyone off of Moxley. MJF declared that Hathaway was fired, and that did not sit well with the rest of The Firm. All five competitors decided to beat MJF down as well. The show concluded with Morrissey putting MJF through a table at ringside.

MJF will challenge Moxley for the AEW World title in the main event of Full Gear on November 19.
