WWE SmackDown viewership dipped on October 21.
According to Brandon Thurston of Wrestlenomics, 2.231 million viewers watched the show on Friday. This number is down from last week, when 2.274 million viewers tuned in.
In the 18 to 49 demographic, SmackDown scored a 0.52 rating. This number also marks a drop from last week (0.54 rating in the same demographic). Thurston noted that SmackDown ranked third among broadcast primetime and cable originals in the demographic on Friday. The MLB NLCS game in FS1 and the NBA on TBT outranked SmackDown, but WWE beat the early NBA game it faced.
MLB NLCS game on FS1 (1.12 P18-49 rating) and the late NBA game on ESPN (0.66) outranked Smackdown.
Smackdown outperformed the early NBA game it went head-to-head with (0.47).

This week’s episode featured an appearance from Logan Paul. Plus, Damage CTRL (Dakota Kai and IYO SKY) defended the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship against Raquel Rodriguez and Shotzi. Elsewhere on the show, Sheamus battled Ridge Holland.
