The cast of The Iron Claw continues to grow.
Deadline reports that Lily James has been cast in the film, but it’s unclear which role she will play. She joins Zac Efron, Harris Dickinson, Holt McCallany, Jeremy Allen White and Maura Tierney in the lineup. The film, which is being written and directed by Sean Durkin, is being financed by A24 and Access Industries, and House Productions’ Tessa Ross, Juliette Howell and Angus Lamont are also involved as the producers, along with A24.
James recently had a breakout role in the popular Hulu miniseries Pam & Tommy, in which she played Pamela Anderson. She previously had a prominent role in Downton Abbey, and she also played Debora in Baby Driver.
The Iron Claw is based on the story of the Von Erich family, which has ties in the wrestling world dating back to the 1960s. Marshall and Ross Von Erich continue to compete; the former MLW World Tag Team Champions competed at the Ric Flair’s Last Match event on July 31.
