Taya Valkyrie awaits her next challenger.
Set to defend her MLW Women’s World Featherweight Championship, Valkyrie will appear at the company’s FIGHTLAND ’22 event on October 30th. “La Wera Loca” first captured the title in May by defeating Holidead on an episode on MLW Fusion. Since then, she’s gone on to successfully defend her championship on numerous occasions. Most recently, Valkyrie defeated Lady Flammer in a title bout. Now, Valkyrie will tackle her next task: an open challenge.
As revealed by Major League Wrestling, Valkyrie will defend her title in an open contract title match. Therefore, her opponent is unknown at this time.

MLW today announced MLW Women’s World Featherweight Champion Taya Valkyrie will defend her title in an open contract championship bout at MLW FIGHTLAND ’22 on Sunday, October 30 at the 2300 Arena in Philadelphia.
Tickets start at $15 at MLW2300.com and the 2300 Arena box office.
The card is a FUSION TV taping, airing on beIN SPORTS nationwide on cable and dish and in over 60 countries around the world.
