Shinsuke Nakamura has been away from the world of WWE for a couple of months, but he’s back now.
Nakamura appeared during the October 18 episode of NXT, where he acted as the surprise, mystery opponent for Stacks Lorenzo. Lorenzo was shocked to see Tony D’Angelo had set the match up, but still exuded his normal confidence as he took to the ring. Unfortunately for Stacks, it wouldn’t last, as Nakamura took down the man with a swift victory.
For Nakamura, this was his first televised match since he beat Happy Corbin on the August 26 episode of SmackDown. It was also his first televised NXT match since he defeated TJP on an episode years back on February 22, 2017. Just what the future has in store for Nakamura is unknown, but he’s now back and clearly ready for action.
