The O.C. is headed to WWE Crown Jewel, where the group is set to take on Judgment Day following a match tonight on WWE RAW.
In a match against Alpha Academy that kicked off the show, The O.C. walked out with a win after Karl Anderson landed a huge spinebuster on Chad Gable, allowing the group to hit the Magic Killer on him for the win. Following the match, Judgment Day came out, with Damian Priest saying that it’s funny that O.C. think they accomplished something great last week. Balor then challenged them to a match at Crown Jewel. Styles says they accept before laying down a challenge to do it tonight. That is, unless they have to ask their mother (Rhea) for permission.
Dominik then interrupted and told AJ to shut up. Styles said if he can talk the talk, then he needs to step in the ring. Rhea encourages Dom to be a man and get in there. Dom says he’s not ready yet without his gear, but would be ready in about an hour or so, setting up another match for later tonight.
While the Crown Jewel match seems to be set, it is important to note that Karl Anderson is set to face Hikuleo that same day for the NEVER Openweight Championship at NJPW’s Battle Autumn in Osaka. Currently, it’s unclear exactly what will happen now that a match at Crown Jewel is set.
