Lucha Libre AAA is set to host Triplemania XXX: Mexico City tonight, the third entry in its Triplemanía events, two of which were held earlier in the year in celebration of the 30th edition of the event.
Tonight’s matches will feature Rey Fenix taking on Hijo del Vikingo for the AAA Mega Championship at the show after winning an online fan vote. Vikingo previously won the gold at Triplemania Regia in December, where he defeated Jay Lethal, Bandido, Samuray del Sol, and Bobby Fish.
Taya Valkyrie will also defend the AAA Reina de Reinas Championship against NWA World Women’s Champion Kamille after Thunder Rosa was pulled from the bout due to injury. Elsewhere in the night, Pentagon Jr. will face off against Villano IV in a Mask vs. Mask Match, in the Ruleta de la Muerte finals.
