After months of rumors and teasing, and following his shocking return at WWE Extreme Rules, Bray Wyatt finally returned to the ring during tonight’s episode of WWE SmackDown.
To close out the show, Wyatt made his return to a WWE ring, sporting a new theme song and his signature lantern. In the ring, a surprisingly heartfelt and “real” Bray Wyatt thanked fans for their support, and said that he had lost a lot in the past year, including his career, self-confidence, and a few people very close to him.

He noted that he thought that everything he did in WWE was meaningless, but he was wrong. Wyatt said that he went out into the world, and fans showed him that he made a difference in their lives.
He then recounted how people would tell him he saved their lives because they were in a bad place, and said that the fans also saved his life by being there for him when he was in a dark place.
However, things didn’t stay heartfelt for too long. As Wyatt continued to talk, the lights suddenly cut out, and the same masked man in a devil’s mask that was at Extreme Rules appeared on the jumbotron. The mysterious man said then uttered a cryptic few statements, saying “Oh little one, my little one. Come with me, your life is done. Forget the future, forget the past, life is over, breathe your last. You got no idea who you’re dealing with, do you? Oh, but you will.”
