Bray Wyatt made his long-awaited return to WWE.
The closing moments of the 2022 Extreme Rules pay-per-view saw the return of Bray Wyatt, who was revealed as the man behind the recent White Rabbit teasers.
After Matt Riddle won the Fight Pit main event, the lights went out in the arena and a voice was heard singing “He’s Got The Whole World In His Hands.” Each verse saw a different spotlight come on in the arena, showing full-sized versions (adults in costume) of Huskus the Pig, Mercy the Buzzard, Ramblin’ Rabbit and Abby the Witch. A masked figure was then shown repeating the “Who Killed The World?” dialogue, then a door opened up and Bray walked out with a lantern. He was wearing a new mask, then took it off and blew the lantern out to close the show.

This marks the first official appearance by Bray Wyatt in WWE since the April 12, 2021 episode of WWE RAW. Wyatt remained off of television until he was released from his WWE contract due to ‘Budget Cuts’ in July 2021.
It’s unclear if the Firefly Fun House characters will remain with Bray Wyatt, but at one point WWE actually pitched a live version of the group. According to an artist who made a mock mask, Wyatt agreed only if he could play the characters himself. WWE ultimately shelved the concept but you can read more about the pitch, including a mask designed for Alexa Bliss to wear, at this link.
