New Japan Pro-Wrestling held the first night of its Royal Quest II event on Saturday, October 1, 2022, delivering a huge event with some big matches.
The event — which didn’t air live, but will be available on NJPW World at a later date — featured Gabriel Kidd taking on Dan Moloney, Michael Oku and Ricky Knight Jr. teaming up to face off against The Great-O-Khan and Gideon Grey, and Hiromu Takahashi, SANADA, and Tetsuya Naito taking on DOUKI, El Desperado, and Zack Sabre Jr. In the main event, FTR and Aussie Open faced off for the IWGP Tag Team Championships.

- Alex Windsor and Ava White defeated Kanji and Jazzy Gabert

- Tomohiro Ishii and Kazuchika Okada defeated Bad Dude Tito and Zak Knight
- Jado, Hikuleo, Hiroshi Tanahashi, and Tama Tonga defeated Doc Gallows, Karl Anderson, Gedo, and Jay White
- Will Ospreay defeated Shota Umino by referee stoppage
- IWGP Tag Team Championships: FTR (Dax Harwood and Cash Wheeler) (c) defeated Aussie Open (Kyle Fletcher and Mark Davis)
