The first match has been announced for AEW Battle of the Belts IV.
As announced on the September 30 episode of AEW Rampage, PAC will defend the AEW All-Atlantic Championship against Trent Beretta. On Friday, Beretta cut a promo about the match, noting that PAC injured Orange Cassidy when they clashed on AEW Dynamite: Grand Slam. He made it clear that he’ll be aiming to get vengeance for his friend.
Beretta and PAC were on opposite sides of a trios match on the September 7 episode of AEW Dynamite, where Death Triangle beat the Best Friends to win the AEW World Trios Championships after Tony Khan vacated them.

As of this writing, the All-Atlantic Championship match is the only bout that has been announced for AEW Battle of the Belts, which will air live after AEW Rampage on October 7.
