Ludwig Kaiser Discusses Rumors That Vince McMahon Lost Interest In Imperium

Ludwig Kaiser comments on the rumors that Vince McMahon had lost interest in Imperium prior to his retirement.

Gunther, alongside Kaiser, debuted on the April 8 episode of WWE SmackDown. He quickly established himself as a dominant force on the blue brand, and he won the Intercontinental Championship on the June 10 episode of the show. Still, rumors suggested that the WWE Chairman had cooled on the duo before he retired on July 22.

Speaking with WAZ, Kaiser commented on the rumors and noted that he didn’t know anything about them, and they’ve had nothing but a good experience on SmackDown.

“I don’t know anything about the rumors,” Kaiser said. “It is also usually the case that we don’t let it get to us like that. From our side, we have been at Smackdown, totally satisfied. We were well received there, the feedback was consistently positive from the beginning. We can’t complain about our TV time either. If you look at what we have achieved in the few months, including Gunther’s Intercontinental Championship title, that speaks for itself. Of course, there are always rumors here and there, but many things are not true.”

Kaiser also shared his thoughts on McMahon’s retirement and expressed his gratitude for opportunity to work for him.

“His resignation was unimaginable,” Kaiser said. “They hadn’t rumored about it before. A blatant thing, he is an absolute revolutionary and a visionary. Especially when it comes to streaming things like the WWE Network, for example. Great for us that we still had the chance to work with him, there has also been close, good cooperation in recent weeks.”
