A longtime member of WWE’s medical staff has exited the company.
According to a report from Mike Johnson of PWInsider, WWE’s Senior Ringside Physician Dr. Chris Amann recently exited the company, retiring from his longtime position. According to the report, Dr. Amann gave his notice to the company well in advance of retiring from his position in September 2022. Dr. Amann had been with the company since May of 2008 and was part of the team that helped implement their wellness policy.

Amann is perhaps best remembered for unsuccessfully suing CM Punk and Colt Cabana for comments made by the former on Colt Cabana’s Art of Wrestling podcast in November 2014. The case would go to trial with the jury siding in favor of CM Punk and Colt Cabana in 2018.
