It appears Shotzi has turned babyface.
During the September 16 edition of WWE SmackDown, Bayley defeated Raquel Rodriguez with an assist from Damage CTRL at ringside. Post-match, the trio beat down Rodriguez until Shotzi ran out and cleared the ring. Shotzi consoled Rodriguez as Damage CTRL retreated.

Rodriguez mentioned in a pre-match promo that Damage CTRL hurt Aliyah, so it appears Shotzi may be aligning with Rodriguez in the meantime. The babyface turn lines up with Fightful Select’s report on Friday that Shotzi’s tank was brought to SmackDown in Anaheim. Though it was not used this week, the tank was a featured part of her character during her time in NXT.
Triple H continues to tweak characters across WWE now that he is overseeing creative. Shotzi has primarily been a heel during her singles run on SmackDown. She was called up alongside Tegan Nox in July 2021, but Nox was released in November.
This year, Shotzi has been involved in the Royal Rumble and Money in the Bank matches, while also taking part in several contender’s matches for the SmackDown Women’s Championship.
