The Lucha Brothers were scheduled to face the Briscoe Brothers in a tag team dream match at Warrior Wrestling 25, but the bout has been pulled from the card.
In a tweet, the company announced that, after “consultation from our friends at ROH and AEW”, the card has been changed. While the Lucha Brothers and the Briscoes will still be in action, they will no longer be facing each other at the show on October 2.
In a follow-up tweet, Warrior Wrestling announced that AEW is sending Eddie Kingston to the show as part of this change.
…They will each compete in separate matches.
BUT…..AEW will be sending EDDIE KINGSTON to compete at Warrior Wrestling 25 and appear at the pre-show fan fest as part of this change.
We're excited to host the Mad King!

The Briscoes are under contract with ROH, while the Lucha Brothers were signed to AEW. Alongside Pac, they are two-thirds of the AEW World Trios Champions.
