The National Wrestling Alliance delivered an action-packed episode of NWA Powerr on September 13.
Tyrus defended the NWA World Television Championship against Mims, among other bouts.
The results are as follows:
- Pope & Kratos defeated Question Mark (Rodney Mack) & KC Roxx
- Aron Stevens attacks Pope after the match. He and Question Mark double-team Kratos. A new Question Mark takes out Mark and stares down Stevens, forcing him to leave the ring.
- Bully Ray comes to the podium, but Matt Cardona interrupts and tells him to “get the hell out.” He says nobody wants him there and calls him a leech. Ray responds and notes that he doesn’t have a friend in the business, but he has plenty of friends in the crowd. He says Cardona hides behind Twitter like a coward. Ray says he’s giving Cardona a moment in the spotlight, so he should come up with something better. Cardona challenges Ray to a tag team match where he would find a partner to face Mike Knox and VSK. Ray says he has the perfect guy for that spot.
- In an interview, Thom Latimer says his world title is always in his peripheral vision. He notes that dealing with EC3 might sidetrack him, but once he does, he’ll shift his focus back to the title. May Valentine brings up Bully Ray, and Latimer says that he feels for Ray because he’s a good mentor.
- Cyon (with Austin Idol) defeated Joe Alonzo
- Backstage, Rolando Freeman says he’s the present because he defeated Matt Cardona.
- In an interview, Freeman introduces himself to Ricky “The Dragon” Steamboat and says he think Steamboat could get him a shot at the world title. The legend says he has no idea who Freeman is.
- Queen Bee Match: Max The Impaler, Natalia Markova, & Angelina Love defeated Roxy, Ella Envy, & Kenzie Paige
- Per the rules of the match, Max, Markova, and Love faced off in a three-way elimination match, and it ends in a no contest. Max grabs the Queen Bee crown and puts it on before she takes it off and stomps it.
- Backstage, the new Question Mark says he’s the original Question Mark’s brother. He says he’s Question Mark II.
- In an interview, NWA Worlds Heavyweight Champion Trevor Murdoch says it’s his responsibility to set the tone, and he’s bringing “ruthless aggression” back. As for a potential rematch with Tyrus, he says the NWA TV Champion has the right to cash in his title for a shot at the gold, but that would also be his funeral. Murdoch says he interfered in Cardona’s match with Freeman because what Cardona was doing wasn’t right.
- NWA World Television Championship: Tyrus (c) defeated Mims
- After the match, Tyrus left the title in the ring.
