All Elite Wrestling will deliver an action-packed episode of AEW Rampage on September 9.
Tonight’s episode will see the continuation of the Grand Slam Tournament of Champions, with Sammy Guevara and Darby Allin facing off, with the winner moving on to face off against Jon Moxley during next week’s episode of AEW Dynamite, and a shot at a future match for the AEW World Championship.
In the likely main event, ROH World Champion Claudio Castagnoli will defend his title against Dax Harwood. In his most recent defense, he defeated Ari Daivari on the September 6 episode of AEW Dark. Elsewhere, Serena Deeb will face off against Madison Rayne, and we’ll hear from Samoa Joe, as well.
The results are as follows:
Match 1: Sammy Guevara def. Darby Allin via pinfall
In a stellar opening match, Sammy Guevara advanced further in the Grand Slam Tournament of Champions, outdueling Darby Allin and stamping his ticket to a match against Jon Moxley next week on AEW Dynamite.
Things came to an end after Tay Melo ran down to the ring to stop Anna Jay from distracting anyone. Too distracted himself, Darby Allin was confused long enough to allow Sammy to hit a low blow on his opponent before hitting the GTH for the win.
With the numbers on his side, @sammyguevara steals the victory and advances to the Grand Slam Tournament of Champions Semi-finals next week! #AEWRampage is on @tntdrama! pic.twitter.com/6SEuAyyEUu

Match 3: Claudio Castagnoli (c) def. Dax Harwood via pinfall – ROH World Championship
In a title match to close out the night, Castagnoli continued his reign as ROH World Champion, taking down Harwood in a hard-fought win.
Towards the end of the match, Dax locked Castagnoli in a sharpshooter, but Claudio was able to power out of it, and began hitting Harwood with a series of elbows until Harwood was dazed enough for Castagnoli to lock in his own sharpshooter for the win.
