Sting had some fun during his latest AEW action figure reveal.
AEW All Out weekend featured a Ringside Collectibles panel that revealed several new action figures set for release in the near future. Wardlow, Britt Baker, Ricky Starks and other AEW stars took part in the panel, and Sting took some time to set the record straight about a few shoutouts from the audience.
“Wait a second, I think I hear some Ric Flair ‘Wooooos’ out there,” Sting said. “Ric says ‘Wooooo’ and I say ‘Owwwwww!’”
Sting then assessed his new action figure that comes paired with the AEW Rampage Authentic Scale Ring. The Icon joked that it looked like he was ready to see the D.M.D., but said he’s honored to be part of what’s going on in the collectibles market.
“I look like I’m on my way to see Dr. Britt Baker. My mouth is wide open, like she’s checking for cavities or something. They caught me in one of these [roars] moments,” Sting quipped. “Anyways, I think it looks pretty cool. AEW has put out some good stuff, not just AEW per se, but I’m just grateful for all of you fans for coming. Thank you, this is incredible.”
Sting then jokingly threw the AEW Rampage ring to the side and left while paraphrasing John Lennon’s comments from the Beatles’ last concert by saying he’d “like to say thank you on behalf of the [band]. I hope we passed the audition.”
