The National Wrestling Alliance delivered an action-packed show with the September 6 episode of NWA Powerrr.
Among other bouts, Kamille defended the NWA World Women’s Championship against Allysin Kay.
The results are as follows:
- #1 Contenders Match: Taya Valkyrie defeated Jennacide, KiLynn King, and Chelsea Green
- At the podium, Billy Corgan discusses the success of NWA 74 and says he couldn’t be more proud of the company. He vows that there will be an NWA 100. He looks back on NWA 74 and says Kamille was involved in the best matches on both nights of the show. Corgan says NWA will do another Empowerrr event “very soon.” Moving forward, he tells everyone to keep watching.
- EC3 defeated Deonte Marshall
- EC3’s Control The Narrative members come out and stand by him. He says it’s not an invasion, it’s an awakening. He says they’re liberators of the mind, body. and spirit. EC3 says the men behind him have dealt with their demons, but they chose to “control your narrative.” He says he knows the talent and the man Thom Latimer can become, but he has to go through a new level of hell to do so.
- May Valentine is backstage with Aron Stevens and Rodney Mack. She asks Stevens about his match at NWA 74 and wonders whether he’s out of retirement now. He says he’s not retired, he is rewired because he wants to give back to the industry. With that in mind, he announces the inception of Black Glove Management, and he is going to take on a new venture as a manager. He says they’re open for business is The Question Mark (Mack). Stevens says no one can prove that the man next to him is not The Question Mark. He says money makes the world go round, and he has money, so Black Glove Management is the force that binds the universe together and gets the cosmos spinning.
- NWA World Women’s Championship: Kamille (c) vs. Allysin Kay ends in a time limit draw
- The Cardona Family is backstage. Matt Cardona says he came back too early, but he did it for the NWA Universe. He notes he was almost 100%. He vows that he can beat Trevor Murdoch. Mike Knox is asked about his issues with Bully Ray and says that if he sees him, he’s going to attack him. Knox states that Ray should have his head on a swivel. Brian Myers says he’s there because Cardona asked him to be. Cardona says the family is in the NWA to win titles together.
- May Valentine is backstage with The OGK. Mike Bennett announces he has entered the NWA National Championship Tournament because they want to win gold. Matt Taven says they want to win the tag titles, and they’re going to do just that. He also teases his interest in winning the world title, but for now, he’s going to root Bennett on in the tournament.
- Flip Gordon defeated Doug Williams
- Odinson runs into the ring and sprays something in Gordon’s eyes. He brawls with Nick Aldis, and the broadcast team notes that Aldis is not cleared to compete. “The National Treasure” wins the brawl and Odinson leaves.
