Wild Boar is thankful for his WWE release because it will give him the freedom to wrestle all over the place.
Boar had been a member of the NXT UK brand since 2018, but after the announcement of the launch of NXT Europe, several members of the UK roster, including Boar, were let go.
In an interview with PWMania, Boar discussed his departure and noted he was grateful for it. He emphasized that he’s looking forward to showing the world what he has become.
“That’s something that I’m massively grateful for,” Wild Boar said. “I can now do everything that I couldn’t do for the last 4 and a half years. I’m very excited that I get to show what I became in the past four and a half years. I’m really looking forward to getting out and wrestling as much as I can. I want to wrestle everywhere, the States, Canada, Japan, and just in the UK too.”
As for his future, Boar stated that he’s excited about facing some wrestles he’s never gotten to share the ring with, including JONAH.
“Being under contract afforded me a lot of good things,” Boar said. “When I had that injury they really helped me out over at WWE. I couldn’t have asked for better care. I’m very grateful for my time there. On the flip side of that, there wasn’t a lot of chance for me to wrestle how I really wanted to,” says Wild Boar. “Now I’m hustling to get work and show the world what I’ve become in the past four and a half years.”
“I’ve been watching [JONAH] for the past couple of years since he was unfortunately released, now he’s killing it. I’d love to wrestle him.”
Time will tell what Boar’s future holds from here on out.
